GLS Sadguna and BD College for Girls, Ahmedabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Back in 1966, GLS Sadguna and BD College for Girls  established with the idea of empowering women through quality education. This affiliated college is located in the heart of Ahmedabad in Gujarat and has been moulding young women for the last five decades. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council has accredited this concern for the maintenance of high academic standards for this college. This college, sprawling over a compact area of 1.03685 acres, now houses a total enrolment of 593 students who are all female, thus providing them with a focused and supportive atmosphere for study. The faculty strength is 15 dedicated teachers who undertake that the students are always provided with personal attention and guiding force.

The infrastructure provides facilities that enrich the learning process of the students. The Library is well-stocked and serves as a knowledge hub with its immense variety of books, periodicals, and computer-based resources. Additionally, the college's IT infrastructure is very good; therefore, the students are always updated with knowledge about the latest developments in technology. The institution has various facilities developing physical fitness and sportsmanship for the students with a sporting character. GLS Sadguna and BD College for Girls currently offer only one principal course: the BA program. It is a three year full-time undergraduate degree course whose main aim is to develop a graduate student into a graduate with a liberal arts education. Most of these courses offer several subjects from disciplines of the Humanities and Social Sciences.
