This goalpara college was established way back in the year 1955 as one of the most famous colleges. It has grown with time to be one amongst the top institutes of Assam, imparting affiliated undergraduate courses to thousands of students. The main administrative building and the annex along with 35.28 acres of land laid down beautifully, with a number of approximately 1,990 total enrollments consisting of roughly a 49% balance for males and 51% for females.
