The Gobindapur Polytechnic College was established in 2011. It is located in Gobindapur, Murshidabad, West Bengal. The technical institute is spread over 5.27 acres with a host of diploma courses under many branches of engineering. The college is AICTE-approved and has a total student strength of 865 and a faculty strength of 82. Gobindapur Polytechnic College provides four diploma courses in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering for students who want a more hands-on and industry-related education.

The institution is bubbling with facilities that enhance the valuable experiences of the students. One such infrastructure is a well-stocked library of about 7,000 books, multi-volume encyclopedias, and subscriptions to more than 30 journals.
