Godutai College of Education for Women’s, Kalaburagi was started in the year 2005 is devoted to women education in the state of Karnataka, India. This affiliated college is situated at Sharan Nagar; it is approved from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) laying stress on qualitative teachers training and education. Situated over a total area of 0.7415 acre, the college at present time is home to 183 students and have a total faculty members of 11 teachers. 

The Godutai College of Education for Womens boasts with the range of services and equipment which could be of use for improving students’ achievements. The campus has a fully stocked library in order to support the knowledge needs of the students who wish to become teachers. Every human interested in exercise workouts has an option of a Gym within the compound of the building. The college also also has a good technology as well which impacts the students in the use of modern technology in colleges. A canteen serves the food needs of staff as well as the students, and an auditorium is used for events, seminars among others. Hostel accommodation is available for out of town students and there is a girls hostel, which is well equipped to ensure comfort. Sports facilities are also provided aiming at provision of holistic developmental model. Godutai College of Education for Women’s has only one course and that is the B.Ed programme. This programme is offered full-time and officially takes two years, and can prepare a student to become a teacher. The programme has an approved admission capacity of 100 seats to meet the demand of many candidates in the teaching profession every year. 

The criteria of selection in Godutai College of Education for Women’s is strictly on merit basis as directed by the state Government, UT administration and the university to which it is affiliated with. Passing standard for admission in particular course is through the qualifying examination, entrance examination or any other mode as may be prescribed by the authority.
