Godutai Doddappa Appa Arts and Commerce College for Women, Gulbarga: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Godutai Doddappa Appa Arts and Commerce College for women was started in the year 1973. This affiliated college is situated in Kalaburagi India VHO covers 1.75 acres and is NAAC approved. Since the institution has specialized more so in arts and commerce, it has three undergraduate programmes in its 502 registered students. We have 23 well-qualified, committed members in the faculty so that we have a good student-teacher ratio in our college. Interestingly, the institution is a women only university and learning environment in general is very empowering to women.

The Godutai Doddappa Appa Arts and Commerce College for Women  boosts of featuring qualitive services that support value addition to the student’s learning and personality. The campus has a well stocked library of over 22,191 books, 40 journals, more than 6,000 e-journals and 97,000 e-books. This vast collection is also an emporium of knowledge for the emerging scholars. To the camp users especially students who need hostels, the college has a girls’ hostel and has got hygienic food and hot water. Health and wellness get attention through medical services with first aid amenities and a gym. The institution also has adequate IT facilities for example computers with internet connection and Wi-Fi all over the compound, to make sure that students are in touch with the modern world in this era of technology.

Godutai Doddappa Appa Arts and Commerce College for Women offers three full-time undergraduate programmes: These include; Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). These are three year programmes in which education in each field is imparted in its entirety to the students.
