Shri Bhausaheb Vartak Arts, Commerce and Science College, affiliated to Mumbai University, is the study legacy of Gokhale Education Society established in 1979. It has been marching ahead since then on a compact 0.714-acre campus in the suburb of Borivali, Mumbai, to fulfill the dream of quality education with maximum diversification. It has a rich academic environment with the strength of 2,567 students and a faculty of 19. The institution has accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which testifies to its strong commitment to maintaining high standards of education.

As of the year 2022, the total number of students admitted to the college is 2,567, out of which 2,450 admitted in undergraduate programmes, and 117 in postgraduate courses.
