Government arts and science college, Vilayil was started in the year 2013-2014 its being a university institution of higher learning to the Malappuram district of Kerala. Located on Huinthian Road in the big 5-acres compound, this affiliated college aims to bring quality education in providing a wide variety academic programmes for students’ moulding. The institution boasts of 578 students and a hard working faculty of 26 members, thus affording the learner a suitable ambience for learning. The college has 7 programmes offered within 6 degree programmes in arts, science, commerce streams. Accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the college shows the way to quality education in the area.
