Brijindra College, Faridkot was started in the year 1942 and is one of the prestigious college of Punjab, India. This multi gender college located in a gargantuan land measuring 35 acres of land is an affiliated college certified by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Currently the college has 3,157 students enrolled and faculty of 64 members, currently teaches a wide student based lowest 7 degree programs with an offer of 11 courses. Government Brijindra College has specialisations in Commerce and business studies Computer Applications Agriculture and Science etc to meet the educational and training requirements of students from different domains.

Brijindra College has numerous facilities which the college has provided to improve the learning experience of the learners. All these facilities have a central library with more than sixty two thousand six hundred and seventy four books, out of which one thousand six hundred ninety five are reference books, six thousand e-journals and five thousand e-books. It also has 29 current magazines, and 15 newspapers so that students have ample information for helping them with their academics . From here, it can be observed that the college is well-equipped with the latest know-how in Information Technology including a fast internet connection all over campus. In regards to skill learning, there are different departmental laboratories available on the institution to allow individual skills in different areas. Another thing that can also be noted is that in terms of students’ health the college also takes much care about as it has a gym and a swimming pool. Sports lovers can build on facilities such as Astro-turf hockey ground, cricket ground, Lawn tennis ground, and others; which include kabaddi, wrestling, and volley-ball grounds.

Government Brijindra College has complete facilities for the transcription of different under graduate and post graduate programs. It offers 11 courses out of which the college offers full time degree courses in Arts, Science, Commerce and Computer Application. Few of the general courses are B.Com, B.Sc in Non Medical, B.C.A. (self finance), B.Sc in Medical, B.Sc in Agriculture, and MA in Economics (self finance), Punjabi and English.
