Government Co Ed Polytechnic, Jagdalpur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Government Co-Ed Polytechnic, Jagdalpur, was established in 2014 and is located in Bastar, Chhattisgarh. This affiliated technical institution is approved by AICTE, offering engineering diploma programs. Its campus stretches over an area of 9.5 acres, with a sanctioned student enrolment of 152 and faculty strength of 13 in number. The institute has three specialized diploma courses in electrical, mechanical, and metallurgical engineering to meet the varied interests of aspiring technicians and engineers within the region. 

Many facilities have been provided in the campus to make the learning of the students studying at the polytechnic more fruitful. Within the campus, there are separate facilities for boys' and girls' hostels that provide a comfortable stay to students joining the institution from varied locations. Government Co-Ed Polytechnic, Jagdalpur offers three full-time diploma programs, each for a period of three years. These include the Diploma in Electrical Engineering, the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and the Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering. There are a total of 150 approved students in the institute across the aforementioned three programs—60 seats each for Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, and 30 seats for Metallurgical Engineering.

The Government Co-Ed Polytechnic, Jagdalpur admission process is mainly based on the Chhattisgarh Pre-Polytechnic Test (CG PPT). Candidates from Bastar district are admitted at the institutional level on the basis of their merit in CG PPT. This entrance examination thus opens a way for providing ample opportunities to aspiring students for seeking admission to some of the esteemed programs of this polytechnic.
