Bijuri Government College was set up in the year 2013, is one of the affiliated college of Madhya Pradesh It is a government college at Anuppur in Madhya Pradesh. This is a fairly young college, but it has gradually grown into one of the important educational institutions in this area. Located in a small area of 0.40 acres, the college provides numerous undergraduate programs in arts, commerce, and science streams. The total enrollment of students in Government College, Bijuri is 602 and the faculty is only of 2 which makes learning environmentænd controlled. It has developed 3 degree programs from which it currently offers 4 courses namely arts, commerce and various science combinations.

The college has acquired various facilities in a bid to provide the best environment in which a student can learn and achieve his objectives. This institution functions as the knowledge centre where students go to access various information resources. For the more sporty oriented people, the college has many different sports amenities to take care of the health related segment and team spirit. 

The institution appreciate the role of technology in modern learning and has provided quality information and technology infrastructure, and resource such as wireless connectivity throughout the facility. Science students enjoy fully equipped laboratories which offer practical sessions to the students. There is also a college auditorium to facilitate occasion and seminar activities hence enhancing campus life. 

There is a cafeteria on the territory of the university that was designed to become the students’ common ground and a place to get refreshed between the classes. Finally, enough parking space for both teaching and non-teaching staffs of the school as well as students is provided in order to make their park and ride system efficient enough.

Interdisciplinary studies being offered at Government College, Bijuri include a total of 4 full and part-time undergraduate programs. Among them Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Two Bachelor of Science (B.Sc with different options. The college has an intake capacity for total students in all the courses offered in the college totaling to 270 students. Unfortunately, details of scholarships are still lacking; however, the institution encourages its students to ask about government scholarships and grants that might be out there. The college of itself is quite young; therefore the alumni base is not very vast, however, the college should expect it to expand in the years to come, thereby improving the college’s reputation as well as being useful in providing students with possible internship connections.
