Government College Gharghoda is an affiliated college founded in year 2008, situated in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. This institution which occupies a campus of 10.385 acres has been on the forefront in delivering higher education for more than a decade now. The college itself currently does not have a ranking but it is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), therefore is under commitment to maintain quality education standard. Consequently, the college has only 636 students enroled and 10 faculty members, so the students are provided with individual attention. Government College, Gharghoda offers three full-time undergraduate programmes: A Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc). All of these programmes takes three years to complete, and at the end learners will be equipped with education in their respective areas of discipline. The total intake capacity of college is 960 for all the courses but the seats for BA are 420, B.Sc has 390 seats and for B.Com 150 seats. This diverse range of courses provides the opportunity to continue an academic interest in humanities, commerce or a range of scientific areas. All programmes are delivered in full time to ensure student gets the best education here with out any compromise.
