Govt. College of Education, Nanded, Maharashtra, this institution that aims for the future of education has been in existence since 1968, it is a co-educational college which has been actively imparting education to young education enthusiasts for more than five decades. A recognised institute by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, it functions under the recognition of the National Council for Teacher Education. Spread over a compact 2 acres campus, the institute affords focused learning for 108 enrolled students. Its faculty includes 6 dedicated educators. The student-to-teacher ratio here is excellent, providing individual attention and quality education. 

Govt. College of Education believes in having state-of-the-art facilities to create an ambience conducting quality teaching. A very resourceful library with 23,874 volumes of books, 10 periodicals, and 6 educational journals. The campus also has a health centre with first aid facilities in order to maintain the health and well-being of students. For sporty youths, there is a spacious playground including necessary equipments for football, badminton, etc. The college also focuses on the advancement of technology by providing excellent IT infrastructure that supports modern methodologies in teaching. It also provides specialised laboratories based on the needs of the department, and for events and seminars, it has provided an auditorium; workshop facilities for practical learning are also available. The college offers the following three major programmes: two-year full-time education, B.Ed; two-year full-time Master of Education, M.Ed; and a three-year part-time, Ph.D. in Education.  The total number of student intake in all programmes is 108, which ensures students are well balanced at every level of study.
