Government College situated in Kochi, Kerala, was founded in 1982 and named Tripunithura after the area in which it is located. This affiliated college located in a sprawling 8.53 acre campus has been providing a breakthrough in higher education industry for more than forty years now. Being NAAC accredited, the college shows good aim in maintaining good standards in the academic section of the college. Currently, the college admits 329 students and has 31 faculty members enabling the college to achieve a concentration ratio, which provides the best learning opportunity to students supported by their tutors or facilitators. The institution provides 7 courses in 4 programmes for students who might have different interests and therefore different intended careers.

The total enrolment of the college courses for all levels is 329, which asserts that the college does no allow over crowding in order to enhance the students’ learning experience.
