Government College, Uklana, came into being in the year 2008. Affiliated with and located at Mugal Pura, Uklana, Haryana, the campus is spread over an area of 9 acres. The college offers multiple undergraduate-level programmes to the aspiring students. With a total enrolment of 291, the institution maintains an academic strength of 7 faculty members, thus ensuring a focused educational environment. 

There are numerous facilities on campus, all of which contribute to a better learning experience for the students. The library is regarded as the hub of knowledge on campus and shall prove very helpful to the students by providing them with every form of material necessary for their studies. Hands-on learning is ensured, provided through the various departmental laboratories available in the college, through which the students can enhance practical skills in their respective fields. Much importance is given to technological advancement accompanied by an excellent infrastructure in IT, which will help the students learn digitally about working. Government College, Uklana also provides the campus facilities of sports, as it will definitely encourage the sports persons towards physical fitness and develops teamwork spirit amongst the students. 

Government College, Uklana, is running three full-time degree courses: BA, B.Com, and B.Sc Computer Science. The design of the programmes furnishes a strong base in chosen fields and prepares them for further academic pursuit or career opportunities.

Government College, Uklana has prescribed an admission procedure on a merit basis. It shall be based upon performance of the applicant in their 10+2 examinations or on whatever entrance tests apply.
