Government Degree College Bahoriband in 1989 is a government run co-educational college situated in Sleemnabad of Madhya Pradesh. This affiliated college that is recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The college is positioned on a very small plot of 0.6 acre of land and in present it boasts a total enrolment of 559 students. The institution offers 6 courses at 2 degree levels, the faculty strength being 3, offering courses in arts and humanities. The BA programme, which is the flagship of the undergraduate programmes, has 150 intakes for students. The students enrolment for each of the MA programmes is 20 students, which ensures cohort learning and specialisation in these disciplines.
