Government Degree College Bharali, started in 2015 is a co-educational institute situated in Sirmaur of Himachal Pradesh. This affiliated college, scenically located in the district of the Himalayas, provides a suitable atmosphere to the higher education. The college occupies a vast piece of land of 20 acres to fully ensure that all the activities of the college both academic and extra-curricular are adequately housed. Currently the college is consisting of 130 students and faculty of 6 members making the college have a good student teacher ratio thus facilitating quality education. Government Degree College, Bharali currently offers two undergraduate programs: Three-year full time courses namely B.A and B.Com.

The Government Degree College comes equipped with a myriad of facilities intended at sharpening general learning capabilities. The core component of academic resources is the library where students find various information and different sources necessary for their knowledge in many fields. To support the learners’ practical experience, the college provides rooms for specific organizational departments, including laboratories. The institution understands the need for full personality development ,and so offers sporting facilities to ensure that students develop good health and team spirit . Most important facilities include health and safety with available first aid in the health centre. The classrooms themselves are fairly resourced, and offer good conditions conducive to mechanical learning as well as discussions.

Currently Government Degree College, Bharali provides ability to study two undergraduate courses both of which are regular. BA and B.Com programs are courses that are aimed at passing general knowledge to the students in their fields of specialization. They last for a duration of three school terms, which enables the programs to be intensive and enable students acquire adequate skills. The college takes only 130 students in total, which has been considered in order to provide quality education through class separation.

Government Degree College, Bharali follows the admission policy of merit so that each talented student is qualified to apply for the college and get his/her chances of learning further. The admission to both BA as well as B.Com taken place purely on the merit basis for the students. This process is transparent in order to ensure the college is offering quality education to all aspiring students especially to endemic and marginalised groups.
