Government Degree College, Doongi, Rajouri was established in 2019 thus is consider a young college of higher learning in Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is a co-educational college that is affiliated and it provides undergraduate courses that can best suit any academic passion. The college located opposite to Government Higher Secondary School, Sasal Kote Doongi of Rajouri district thereby making a lush green campus. Present size of student body is 32 and the number of faculty members is 9 which make student-teacher ratio desirable and exchanging facilities provide best services to the students.

The total student intake of the college is 32 which mean college offers a selective and personal learning.
