About GDC Morthad: Government Degree College, Morthad (GDC Morthad) is one of the leading colleges which came into establishment in 2009. This is an affiliated college located in Telangana State, India and has over the years been driven towards offering the best results in Education to students in the region. The GDC Morthad has been certified by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council further showing its dedication to offering high standard education. This college provides students/undergraduates with different types of programmes in different fields; in total, 7 courses are being offered in three levels of a degree. Currently, the college hosts 399 students and has a teaching staff of 10, making GDC Morthad learner-friendly with a fruitful student-teacher ratio.

The college has facilities that will help improve the academic experience of students in college. The up-to-date library as a knowledge centre allows students to access information and resources they need for academic work. In this context, department-based labs offer opportunities for practical experiences in the specific field of the programme offered by the university. As for the undergraduate programmes, GDC Morthad lists them all as full-time courses with the following courses: Currently, the college offers programmes of study that cut across the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), the Bachelor of Arts (BA), and the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) whose varieties of specialized fields offer a niche of interest for students pursuing their dream careers. The B.Sc programmes range from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science and Life Science while the B.A range from Economics, History, Political Science, and Administration. The B.Com programme offered at the university is in Computer Applications. For instance, some of the courses are taught in Telugu, which perhaps symbolises the college’s transitional attitude to embrace the local language-speaking audience.

The college uses academic qualifications as one of the main parameters that determine student’s enrollment in programmes offered at the college.
