GDC Narsapur is an accredited Government college for degree education which was set up in the year of 2008. Situated in Pedda Chinta Kunta Village, Narsapur, Telangana, this affiliated college is situated in over 7.33 acres of area. GDC Narsapur has got NAAC accreditation which has proved its sincerity towards quality education. Today, it has a total of 259 students enrolled in 7 programmes with slightly more male students than female, in the proportion of 7:5. The GDC Narsapur has the strength of twenty-one teaching faculties and at present the college provides seven undergraduate courses in three-degree courses in the fields of science, commerce and arts.

This college boasts some of the features within the compound to improve the learning environment of students. This institution is purely a knowledge institution, providing various instructional materials necessary for scholarly activities. GDC Narsapur has numerous undergraduate programmes which are all three-year full-time courses. The college's academic portfolio includes seven distinct courses: There are B.Com in Computer Application, BA in Economics, Political Science and History, and Five B.Sc course groups in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science, Botany and Zoology. This wide range of styles gives the student the liberty to explore his areas of strength in different fields of discipline. Though the number of seats in each course is unclear, the college student intake is 251; all 259 current students are from Telangana only.

The admission process of the Government Degree College, Narsapur is very much reasonable and conscious about the merit of a candidate.
