Government Degree College, Patancheru becomes into 2008 at Sangareddy District of the Telangana State it is an affiliated college established by the government of Telangana. The institute is NAAC accredited and currently it provides 11 undergraduate courses spread over three programs. The college occupies a small plot of 0.25 acres and is attended by 1,137 students, 49% of whom are male and 51% of whom are female. The members of the faculty are as follows;: 17 members of a faculty. The college has the specialization in various fields like Computer Science, Economics, and Natural Science etc in order to provide educational interests for all stream.

There is a college standard of education and learning that the college wants to offer its students. It equipped with an adequate library that supports lot of academic needs. Department based laboratories provide practical experience in specific subject area that refines professional skills. The institution has ensured that it has made standard information technology investment that meets the innovative education requirements. Students affairs: Complete development aspects are accorded importance and sports facilities of football, volleyball, basketball etc. are provided for students. Also, the college has a health center that provides first aid services for the college and its students.

A total of 11 under graduate programs are offered at Government Degree College, Patancheru and all are on Williamson MACKOG้. These are offered in Commerce, Science, and Arts faculties, and other related fields. Though the numbers of the students for each course have not been outlined there is a total enrollment of 1137 students. The college aims at giving quality education in Telugu and English media to cater to the different language tendencies of the students in
