Government Degree College, Razole or GDC Razole is one of the most prominent institutions founded way back in 1968 in the heart of East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. As a co-educational college affiliated with the state university system, this institution has been shaping minds for five decades. Spread over a spacious campus of 10 acres, GDC Razole offers a diverse range of undergraduate programmes to its 346 enroled students. A perfectly qualified staff of 24 faculty members maintains a favourable student-teacher ratio, personalising education for its students. 

The facilities boasted of by Government Degree College have been designed to help provide the best learning environment for its students. Located at the heart of these facilities is the college library, which ranks as one of the largest in the region for degree colleges. The library houses an impressive collection of 36,000 books and stands as a treasure trove of knowledge that holds chapters in vast collections of subjects and reference materials. It has publications on general knowledge and competitive examinations which are up-to-date, making it a student-friendly tool for students who pursue higher education and career advancement. The college also offers well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology for adequate practical experience in the concerned discipline by the students. These labs are fully equipped with all apparatus that will be required to perform practicals according to the syllabus of universities. The Botany and Zoology departments have museums of rare specimens giving a unique flavour to the learning process. 

GDC Razole offers a total of 10 undergraduate courses offered under the three-degree programmes, namely BA, B.Com, and B.Sc.  All these programmes are three year, full time programmes. 

 Government Degree College, Razole maintains a straightforward and inclusive admission. The general procedure that is followed in all government colleges in Andhra Pradesh. In most cases, this usually involves the centralised admission mechanism that is undertaken by the affiliated university following marks obtained in the qualifying examination, which is 10+2 or equivalent.
