Government Degree College Yellandu, established in the year 1991, is an affiliated college located in Sudemall, Yellandu town, District, Telangana State. This is a public institution, located on a 10-acre campus, and that offers a good number of undergraduate programmes. The college holds membership through the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to show it takes the issue of quality education seriously. Presently, there are 214 students in the college and 7 member faculty, which helps in giving personalised attention to the students. The institution teaches 6 courses in 3 degree programmes in arts, science, commerce, and business management and in English as well as Telugu.

Many amenities are available for the students in the college, and many are there to compliment students’ academic journeys. Government Degree College, Yellandu provides full-time undergraduate courses, in total, 6 programmes. These are: B.Sc. Physical Science, B.Com. Computer Applications, BA, B.Sc. Life Science, B.Sc. Life Science Telugu Medium, BA Telugu Medium. The approved intake for each of these programmes is 60 students, and the total student enrolment across all courses stands at 360. The college has done its level best to provide education in both English and Telugu languages to maintain the multilingual approach and regional language significance.
