Government Dental College is situated in Vandanam, Alappuzha established in 2014 is one of the leading college for dental courses in the institution is located in Kerala state of India. This affiliated college recognised by the Dental Council of India (DCI) has its course of Dental education situated on its small area of 3.85 acres. The college has a total number of 237 students and with having 125 faculties all around so, college has good strength of student and teacher relationship. The institution has only one programme of study , the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) with an approved enrollment capacity of fifty students every academic year which supports the institution’s specialisation on dental education.

This programme of study spans over five years, and the college has an approved capacity to admit fifty students at a time to enhance quality provision of dental education. The BDS course plans and implements the theoretical background and practical experience needed to ensure students become effective practitioners of dental healthcare. Though, definite numbers of graduated students could not be obtained, still the college commitment to quality learning makes pensarable a high pass rate among them.
