Government First Grade College Bharamsagara was established in 2007 and affiliated to UVU this college situated in Chitradurga District of Karnataka state. It has 3-acre campus and offers various undergraduate programs, Recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Having only a total of 284 students and 7 faculties, the college employs a concentrated teaching system. The student body comprises 110 male and 174 female students, reflecting a commendable gender ratio of 1:1.58 and 9 in favor of female students. College currently teaching 3 courses under two programs namely Commerce and Arts and business discipline.

The college has different amenities that make the student experience more special. It plays an important role of a knowledge centre to the students in providing them with variety of academic information. There is an auditorium for use by the extra curricula and college related activities inclusive of seminars, cultural shows and other functions. Sports facilities are provided so that there can be adequate provision for students’ health especially in their performers and Paradox facilities students to balance between books and toys. The college also focuses on the technology with great IT facilities hence students are fitted appropriately in this technological era. Further, the institution also does engage an active alumni association that continues to support working as well as former student partners.

As far as the academic curriculum is concerned, this college offers three full time undergraduate courses. These are a business program B.Com and two Arts programs with majors in History, Economics & Sociology, and History, Economics & Political Science.
