Government First Grade College, Bilikere (GFGCB) is promoted in 2007 at Hunsuru Taluk, Mysuru, Karnataka. This affiliated college located in four acres provides the number of bachelors’ programs to the student community of total 285 enrollments. The college has equal gender distribution with 167 male students, and 118 female students enrolled in the college. GFGCB is NAAC accredited center which makes it an institution in its commitment to quality education. The college has 10 wellqualified faculty members to teach its students across seven courses and three degree programs offering Arts and Commerce stream.

The college has a range of amenities that the designers consider to facilitate learning of the students. It is a knowledge center and an integrated browsing center which operates from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM during the working days. It Staffed Cricket, tennis, squash, basketball and other indoor games along with an Olympic size football turf and other outdoor games like throwball, handball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis etc and has a two acre multi activity area. Faculty amenities include the internet connection, computers in each department, and a fully equipped gym for college students. Also it has departmental laboratories, health center with first aid facilities and much more parking area for faculty, staff and students.

Government First Grade College, Bilikere currently has 7 programs with all of them being under graduate full time programs. The college offers three BA degree programs with different major areas of concentration and a BBA degree program. The BA programs available include; History, Economics & Political Science, History Economics & Sociology, History, Sociology & Optional Kannada. The college also has a B.Com course for those with passion on commerce related fields. Although the distribution of the exact number of seats for each of such programs is not enumerated the total student intake capacity for the college is 285.
