Government First Grade College, Holenarasipura (GFGCH) is the premier institution in the Hassan District of the state of Karnataka. This affiliated college was setup in 1980; it has been training the young generation for over forty years. Located on a vast land of 27.37 acres, GFGCH has the appropriate grounds and climate for teaching-learning process and character formation. The college being affiliated with the University of Mysore is accredited with status by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which is emphasises on maintaining the quality and the standards of education delivered in the country’s institutions. At present, there are 813 students and 18 faculties affirming that GFGCH offers 8 courses of 8 programmes to meet academic and career needs for various learners.

GFGCH has several facilities aimed at improving the student’s learning and personal development within the school atmosphere. The college has well equipped laboratory to support practical learning in variety of fields of study.
