Government First Grade College of Punjalkatte established in the year 2007 is one of the gleaming stars of higher education in the Belthangady Taluk of Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka State. This affiliated college is located in a 5 acres pollution free campus and gradually expanding since its establishment. The college has 562 students and faculties of 11 there are 10 courses in 4 degrees. It boasts of being accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) as part of its educational goal.
