Government First Grade College, Ranebennur (GFGC Ranebennur) is affiliated college which was set up in 2007 located at the precisely in heart of the Ranebennur of Karnataka. This university is located in a small area of 1.8 acres and offers a plethora of 7 courses. Having a total student strength of 1275 and a faculty of 19 members, GFGC Ranebennur offers a personalised learning approach. The college has passed through the test of quality assurance and has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It being a University under the purview of government, it serves students who aim to achieve quality education in different fields at a cheaper price.

Government First Grade College has an aim of improving the performance of the students in their academic activities. The Kenvision college possess a good library which houses different books, journals and periodicals amounting to 21049. It also offers a connection to INFLIBNET and which compel students to search for online materials. The college provide two computerised labs for the learners with 24 state of the art configuration computers per lab together with printers, scanners and stand-by power supply. Sports lovers can effectively utilise the facility of sports room because the place has enough and necessary apparatus for any kind of games and physical activities.  Ranebennur (GFGC Ranebennur) is affiliated college which was set up in 2007  also provides hostel accommodation to its students with boys and girls hostels as different sections. A 200-seater auditorium and an open air quadrangle with a capacity of 500 persons provide for college activities and functions. The campus is well equipped with Wi-Fi facilities owing to the current technological development.
