Government Girls College Khargone was set up in 1984 in Anand Nagar, BTI Road, Khargone, Madhya Pradesh; the college is very famous in the said region. This affiliated college, NAAC Accredited provides a plethora of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Located in a large area of 7 acres, the college and university take a total of 2000 students and 13 faculty members. As part of 5 degrees, 9 courses Government Girls College, Khargone offers qualitative and professional education in Arts, Commerce, Science as well as Social Science Stream to fulfil the academic dreams of young girls of the area.

The college for its part sees itself as an institution which shall ensure that Learning environment is adequately facilitated with equipment that can positively impact on the learning process of all learners within that environment. There is a large library block where students will be able to get all sorts of books they need for their studies. The school has put provisions for students that would enable them carry out exercises as well as get engaged in other physical workouts and exercises. The institution aims at the overall development of its students when it comes to IT, and an active alumni network enables students to interact with other students and other alumni.

Government Girls College, Khargone has 9 courses on offer and all of these courses are pursued on a full time basis.
