The Government Institute of Leather and Footwear Technology, Jalandhar (GILFT) is an oldest institute which comes into existence in the year 1934, to provide education in the field of leather and footwear technology. This affiliated college is situated in Jalandhar, Punjab India and is approved by AICTE which aims to provide technical education. Admission policies are the same for all the institutes under GILFT and the admission procedure involves online centralised admission by merit through Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training.
