Government Kamla Raja Girls Post Graduate College, Gwalior was found in 1937, now an autonomous college for Women in Madhya Pradesh. Sharma College of Education is located in Lashkar, Gwalior and has a campus area of 13.27 acres The college has 8,787 students learning from 172 faculties. Spread across 11 degree programmes, the institute teaches 56 courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels in arts, sciences, commerce, and law. Affiliated to NAAC and recognized by the Bar Council of India, the college is appreciated for its rich exposure and a special focus on women’s education.

Kamla Raja Girls Post Graduate College to offer variety of amenities to benefit and improve the students’ experience. Central library has modern administrative office building and information center, and has been stocked with more than one hundred thousand books, journals, periodicals, and newspaper subscriptions. There are three girls’ hostels on the campus - Ganga, Kaveri and Narmada which can house 183 students and provided with all the facilities of new generation. The Government Kamla Raja Girls Post Graduate College provides student with all round academic specialisation. It offers 56 courses and among them full-time undergraduate programme, postgraduate and doctoral degree programmes. In this regard, some of the BA, B.Sc, BBA, BCA, respectively, and other programmes like various MA and M.Sc programmes, M.Com, PGDCA, and Ph.D. in several fields. The college offers a large number of programmes in humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and commerce.

Government Kamla Raja Girls Post Graduate College follows merit based admission policy and the structure of admissions is followed as per the norms of Jiwaji University, Gwalior. Although entrance exams are not stated, admission is possibly based on past academic results, as well as the norms set by the state government of autonomous colleges.
