Government Law College – Kolar was established in the year 1996, presently located at Arahalli, Kolar, Karnataka is an affiliated college. This prestigious college and campus many branches spread in a total of 4.5 acres of land aims in imparting quality education in law. Affiliated to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and Bar Council of India (BCI) the college boasts the best in legal education facilities. The college has a student strength of 249 and placed with 8 faculty members which provide a niche environment for the students those who wish to build career in legal field.

Government Law College and the surrounding academic amenities of learning and perfect human resource, the college has a variety of elaborate and special learning amenities that foster students’ growth and development in every way possible. The library, an important tool of learning in any law school, boasts of an intake of well over 15000 books and number of law journals, newsletters and reports. This is an integrated five-year full course for those who want to be equipped knowledgeable both in arts and law. The programme also focuses of creating legals professionals that are knowledgeable in both the legal and the social science fields. No quota is seemingly fixed for the number of seats for this course but the total enrolment of the college students is 249, meaning that the admission was rather selective.
