The Government Mahila Engineering College, Ajmer (GWECA) is a self-financed college for women’s, which is established in the year 2007. Being an autonomous college, it is one located at Makhupura, Ajmer, Rajasthan, and has an area of 40.46 acres of land. While teaching 14 courses over 4 degree programmes, GWECA enrols 947 students and has 63 faculty members. Female students are as follows: 740 students within the college, 99% of the female students are undergraduates with the remaining 1% being postgraduate students.
The Government Mahila Engineering College has various amenities that made academic and personal development possible. The Girls Hostel by the Engineering College Ajmer Society offers a home like environment with large spacious airy rooms,self prepared nutritious vegetarian food . The digital library has 20 computer systems that enable the user to access e-Journals and study materials using the e-Granthalaya 3.0 with the OPAC facility. GWECA provides a wide selection of engineering education to enable the institution to meet various individuals’ and industries’ requirements. Offers 6 under graduate B.Tech programmes in core branches like Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering. At the post graduate level, it provides 3 M.Tech specialisations in Computer Science and Engineering, Power Systems and Digital Communication and an MCA programme. The college has come up with state-of-the-art B.Tech programmes in Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in an indication of the college’s desire to embrace the new technologies. Further, as a part of education, electronics and communications engineering and electrical engineering Ph.D. programmes are available in GWECA and help in research and development.

The campus of our college embraces a green environment initiative with plants placed strategically throughout, contributing to a pleasant and eco-friendly atmosphere. Regular cleaning ensures the upkeep of the surroundings, maintaining a tidy and inviting ambiance.
Infrastructure is very good here and well-established. There is big library, fully air-conditioned computer labs and airy hostel rooms. Campus area is very big and has greenery all around. Food also is very good.
Joining the college at the time when our admissions took place at polytecnic college nearby to building up its own giant building in a year that's what we saw in front of us. The building expanded throrouly and had all the required facilities. I would surely give it a five .
