Govt. MCA College, Ahmedabad, was established in 2012 as one of the institutions that contributes to postgraduate education in the field of Computer Applications. The affiliated college is located in the City of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and has been granted approval by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. This compact campus of 1 acre maintains a coherent atmosphere of learning with 143 students and 7 dedicated members. 

The facilities are many and updated in this college to make studying here a unique learning experience. Heavily equipped laboratories provide hands-on experience in the practical aspects of computer applications. This two-year full-time course has the objective of turning out professionals fully equipped to meet the emerging challenges of the IT industry. The Government MCA College admissions are strictly based on merit. The admission process is mostly carried out by the Admissions Committee for Professional Courses. Prospective students have to appear for the Common Management Admission Test, a nationally recognised examination for entrance into such colleges.This enables the college to accept only those students with a high aptitude for computer applications and management studies.
