how many seat for general category in GMCH GUWAHATI for mbbs

In neet 2018, 477 marks was the lowest marks that was required for general category for getting a seat in Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati under Assam state quota . You can check the same at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-assam

But cut off marks keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

So , you should try to get at least around 500 marks to be on the safer side in your neet examination

The admissions to MBBS course in Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh is provided under two categories-All India quota and UT quota.
Under UT quota the cutoff marks and rank for general category are:

561 marks and 8710 rank

However these are previous year cutoffs and might change this year depending on the difficulty of the exam and number of students appearing.

Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh is administerd by Punjab University. It was established in 1991.
Admission to undergraduate courses are based on NEET under two categories-All India quota and Union Territory quota.
Previous year cutoff marks for UT quota were:

561 marks : 8710 rank

is there any private seat in gmch chandigarh?? i am fron EWS.. ?if there is any seat then what would be the expected fee and what should be the marks in neet 2020 for that private seat??

Hi,

Well the government medical college and hospital in Chandigarh is complete government medical college and that is why there is no provision of any private seat being allocated there to any students. Hence I don't think you will be able to get a private seat and the cut off also goes very high for this college as the top rankers choose this college for their ug and pg education.

You can get 85% quota only if you have completed 11th and 12th from Chandigarh otherwise you will not get 85% and you have be satisfied with 15% only.

To get GMCH you must get atleast 550+ or sometimes 600+(considering last and last to last year cutoffs).

To get admission in this College,you need to clear NEET exam with atleast 50th percentile marks. You need to fill NEET application form by paying some fees. After passing your 10+2 exams, you can apply for NEET exam.
