NEET 2024 cutoff round 1 has been released for Government Medical College, Kanker.
Being a new age Government Medical College, the college started functioning from the session 2020 July in India. This affiliated college is from Kanker, Chhattisgarh and is recognised under the National Medical Commission (NMC) which dictates medical standards of the country. It admits co-ed students in pursuit of their medical dream irrespective of their origin or race. Despite its status as a relatively young college with teaching and ancillary staff establishment, the college has recruited 28 qualified members of faculties who are fully committed to their profession. At present, GMC Kanker provide only one basic program undergoing by the medical aspirants, i.e., MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery). It is a full-time course and prospective health officers take six years to complete the course with the aim of producing competent doctors. The college has been granted an intake capacity of 100 students for its MBBS course which is quite useful in forming human resources in the area. As for the detailed statistical information on the total student enrollment and graduation rates, it is impossible to provide it; however, the college is trying to develop its academic image and productivity.
