Government Nagarjuna Post Graduate College of Science was founded in the year 1948, located at Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. It has a total campus area of 43.25 acres and is an NAAC accredited college. The faculty strength of 45 through its 29 courses in five degree programs. It has a diversified student strength, wherein 54% of the students are males and 46% females at the undergraduate level. Total enrolment  of students in all courses is 2,714, which indeed is a considerable number of seats in almost each of the popular programmes.This college specialises in different science disciplines wherein the students get thorough education in subjects like Biotechnology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Defense Studies.

Excellent facilities are provided to support student learning at this college. It has well-equipped laboratories for practical sessions, a huge library with more than 58,491 books, research journals and magazines, and state-of-the-art IT infrastructure.
