Government Narayan Rao Meghawale Girls College, Dhamtari was established in 1995 and is an affiliated college in Dhamtari of Chhattisgarh. This institution, Covering 8.33 acres of land, is a women only institution with the aim of offering quality education. This college has also been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) an indication of the college’s desire to offer quality education. The college has total strength of 844 students and has total faculty of 11 members and it is providing numerous of undergraduate courses. The Bachelor of Arts or BA is a degree programme which offers a broad study of humanities and social sciences. For those who are interested in business studies there is a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree offered in the college. In the science stream, students can choose between two specialisations: Base on faculty streams there are two groups, one is the B.Sc Bio Group for those who are interested in biological streams and the other group is the B.Sc Maths Group for those who are interested in mathematical and physical streams. Each of these programmes is taking three years to complete and the programme is designed to equip the students with professional knowledge and skills in the corresponding specialisations.
