Government Nehru College of Deori was established in 1973 in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, as one of the premier educational centers. This affiliated college, located in a vast area of 7.5 acers, has come into existence for the purpose of fulfilling the educational requirements of this area for more than four decades. The college has total student enrolment of 3700 and faculty of strength 10 comprises of 12 courses in six degree programmes. Government Nehru College has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
