About Government Polytechnic, Aurangabad
Established in 1955, Government Polytechnic Aurangabad is recognized as a leading technical institution within the state of Maharashtra. In 1994, the Government of Maharashtra bestowed academic autonomy upon this institute. Additionally, the Government Polytechnic Aurangabad achieved distinction by receiving the Best Polytechnic Award in 1996-97. To enhance the skills of diploma technicians, the institute introduced an Outcome-Based Curriculum (OBE) starting in the academic year 2017-18.
Government Polytechnic Aurangabad offers 11 different diploma programs. The programs offered at Government Polytechnic Aurangabad are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Admission to Government Polytechnic Aurangabad courses is based on merit basis.

College Infrastructure
College building is old . Hostel available for both girls and boys that too at very affordable rates . College cafeteria is average food quality is average. College has one central library which has thousands of books .
