Government Polytechnic, Bhatapara also known as GABH is a technical government polytechnic college, located in Bhatapara, Chhattisgarh and was started in the year 2014. This affiliated college is AICTE approved which coined our belief that we are serving quality education in the field of engineering. Of the total intake capacity of 326 students, the institute has a faculty involvement of just 15 in its campus. Government Polytechnic, Bhatapara offers up to the three years full time diploma courses in three disciplines, namely Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Streams which is taking an admission capacity of 60 each. 

Government Polytechnic, Bhatapara provides students with different amenities to enhance on their performance both in their classrooms and other activities. The caricaturing and central library are a rich source of study material, books, and newspapers to update the engineering and technological fields. The library is open during working days, which further enough time give students to study ad carry out their research. Each department boasts of having functional laboratories to cater for all the needs of the students in terms of handling practicals necessary to support the theoretical aspects of their chosen disciplines. The college also has vibrant IT infrastructure to ensure that the students are in touch with the modern technological development. For development students in this category have opportunity to access sports complex, fosters the discipline and team spirit among students. 

In total, Government Polytechnic, Bhatapara provides three diploma courses which are all based on full-time learning. The total number of students for the institute in all the courses including the new courses total up to 326 and this means the Institute was willing to ensure the student: faculty ratio for enhanced learning. Although it is not clear to find out the current graduation data, the institute commitment on providing practice oriented education and vocational skills in engineering area is to help students achieve a good professional employment in their respective engineering disciplines.

The admission procedure at Government Polytechnic, Bhatapara is quite simple because of the policies this institution has in place. Information on various examinations is not mentioned but it is understood that the institute may use academic performance of the applicant subject to certain courses in determining the admission to its diploma courses.
