Government Polytechnic, Bhojpur is a recent addition to the government-funded polytechnic institutions in Bihar, established under the purview of the Department of Science and Technology. This educational institution commenced its inaugural academic session in 2019 and initially operated from the campus of New Government Polytechnic, Gulzarbagh, Patna, Bihar.

Government Polytechnic, Bhojpur offers Diploma programs in three core engineering branches namely Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. These programs provide students with a strong foundation in their chosen fields, preparing them for future careers in the industry. The institute is affiliated to the State Board of Technical Education and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
