Government Polytechnic College, Baramulla, was set up in 2012 and is one of the premier technical colleges situated in Jammu and Kashmir. This affiliated college is recognised under AICTE and provides quality education in this field of engineering. Set in a vast piece of land that measures 7.5 acres, the college affords students and faculty a good learning atmosphere. The total number of students enrolled in the institute varies from 135 and faculty is 3, so no student is left alone because they pay individual attention to every student. At the moment, the college has two diploma courses demonstrating its specialised technical training.
