Government Polytechnic College, Chelakkara is a first grade technical education college situated at Chelakkara in Thrissur district of Kerala State was established in the year 1999. Programs offered at this affiliated college include diploma courses in different specifications of engineering approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college occupies a vast land area of 10.11 acres and instructional capacity of 832 students, while comprising a faculty of 24 members. Sustaining this, the institute offers five three-year full-time diplomas focusing on technical human resource development in civil, computer, electronics, mechanical and computer hardware engineering streams.
