Affiliated Government Polytechnic College Jawad was established in 1996 is based at Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh. This technical institution which has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) operates a diploma programmes in engineering fields. Located on a vast piece of land of 34 acres, the college offers physical space for technical education. Currently the institute us has faculty strength of 4 full time dedicated educators to provide quality education in the specialised fields of education. Government Polytechnic College, Jawad at present provides two full time diploma courses for those students who are interested in mechanical and electronics and telecommunication stream.

Many of these courses aim at preparing the students academically and professionally to enable them meet the emerging contemporary dynamic industrial demands. There are two courses at the diploma level that we are talking about; the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and the Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering each of which is intended to admit 48 students making up a total of 96 intakes between the two programmes. Such an approach ensures that students are accorded individual attention and again, that students are offered thorough grounding in the subjects of their specialty.
