The Government Polytechnic College, Khurai was set up in 1962 and is one of the premier technical college offering education in and around the Khurai city in Madhya Pradesh. Government Polytechnic College, Khurai, is one of the engineering polytechnic colleges in the state which provides a limited number of full time diploma courses in engineering only. The institute currently provides three distinct courses: Therefore, its programme of study includes: Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. These three programmes are designed such that they can be completed within 3 years on the middle level to offer students the foundational knowledge of the field of engineering they are interested in. The college also has a balanced intake through the three programmes, and each of them has 54 intakes.
