The Government Polytechnic Ganai Gangoli, Pithoragarh, came into existence in the year 2006 and is situated in the serene and peaceful state of Uttarakhand, India. The institute is affiliated with the All India Council for Technical Education and offers various engineering disciplines in form of diploma programs. It spreads across a 10-acre campus, with a student enrolment of 78 and a faculty of 5. 

Its infrastructure comprises numerous facilities for the all-round development of students.  The admission process at Government Polytechnic Ganai Gangoli primarily occurs via the JEEP—Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics. This exam is held annually in May by the Uttaranchal Board of Technical Education, Roorkee. JEEP is held as the main gateway to this institute's diploma courses for students who aspire to study here.
