Government Polytechnic, Kapkot, was established in 2011, and is an affiliated college situated in the picturesque village of Kapkot in Bageshwar district, Uttarakhand. The institution, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, offers diploma programs in focused fields. Spread over a compact 4.84 acres of campus area, this polytechnic maintains a strictly learning atmosphere for budding technicians and managers.

Diploma in Civil and Environmental Engineering with sanctioned intake of 30 students works towards moulding professionals who will take up challenges in infrastructure and environmental-related fields. The Diploma in Modern Office Management and Secretarial Practices has a capacity of 60 and thus enables the learner with skills for efficient office administration in the digital era. Both have a three-year span with a comprehensive curriculum that inculcates theoretical knowledge with practical skills.
