Affiliated college named Government Polytechnic, Kotgir was founded in 2008, in Nizamabad, Telangana. Approved by AICTE for diploma programs in engineering disciplines, this institution is an AICTE approved institution. The polytechnic is located on a 10 acre land which for the moment accepts a total of 206 students and has 7 faculty members. Although specific ranking data is not given out as this writing, the institute aims at offering quality technical education to ‘’would be” Engineers in the region.

The polytechnic has several amenities that student’s require for academic needs and personal development.
