Government Polytechnic, Nawada: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Government Polytechnic Nawada (GP Nawada) was established in 2018 and is a relatively newer addition to the long list of polytechnics in Bihar. The list of courses at GP Nawada includes diploma in engineering courses in six streams namely civil engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering and mining engineering. Candidates must have passed class 10th from a recognised board to be eligible for admission to GP Nawada. 

Aspiring candidates must make sure they fulfil the GP Nawada eligibility criteria before applying to the institute. GP Nawada admissions are done based on the Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) for regular admissions and through DCECE LE for lateral admissions. The exams are conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Higher Education and affiliated with the State Board of Technical Education, Bihar. GP facilities include spacious classrooms, library, wifi enabled campus, a computer centre, and separate hostels for boys and girls. GP Nawada placements are handled by the training and placement cell of the institute which is responsible for organising placement drives and providing training and counselling to students.

G P Nawada is located in Narhat near the city of Nawada in Bihar India. It is located close to 22 Km from the Nawada town and district headquarters. It can be reached by buses and cabs from the city. The nearest railway station is the Nawada railway station.
